It was August 2019. Because of management jeopardy, the biggest organization of Bengalees across Bangalore – The Bengalee Association was in trouble. The Government appointed an Administrator, called off the executive committee and took charge of the organization. Administrator was not willing to conduct Durga Puja in the same vigour & galore as it used to be traditionally from the beginning as early as 1950.

Therefore, to continue the legacy of oldest Puja in Bangalore, members of the Association decided to continue conducting Largest & Biggest Durga Puja in Bangalore by registering a trust in the name of Bengaluru Durga Puja Committee. The journey continues.
